Nature's Bin Training Program

Nature’s Bin, is a natural fresh foods market in Lakewood, which is operated by Cornucopia, Inc. and servers as the platform for one of our most succesful vocational programs and community based training sites.

Job Skills

While at Nature’s Bin, trainees develop strong work habits, attitudes, behaviors, and skills such as work speed, quality, performance, cooperative interactions, good attendance, and more! Trainees work side-by-side with staff members in all aspects of the retail setting, facing the challenges and rewards of competitive employment in a caring, supportive atmosphere.

Work Expierence

During the 8-12 week program trainees experience a variety of job duties in areas such as: customer service, produce, cashiering and food service. Their experiences in this program will prepare them for placement into a wide variety of jobs including, but not limited to: retail, food service, and corporate offices.

Customized Job Placement

Cornucopia helps consumers determine which areas of employment our they would be best suited for. They may also be discovering new areas of special interest along the way. From their experiences at Nature’s Bin, Cornucopia is able to better determine placement based on consumers individualized goals and skills.
